WHAT IS LINSLABS?
I started LINSLABS to share my digital & physical creations with other like-minded people. As a passionate collector, tinkerer & maker, I’ve been working upon the inspiration, art, passion & foundation of others who share the same love for cool toys & gadgets. I’ve been quietly building, but now I want to share what I know & love.
what can you expect to see in the near future?
To start, more affordable physical props from pop culture & digital media. There are a lot of great video game & movie props online, but I find most are too expensive. I want to begin to offer an affordable way for collectors & nerds like me to take home a piece of their favorite digital franchise. I want to begin to offer more finished / weathered props as well as even more affordable unfinished props for those who want to take the project into their own hands. Again, just more ways for collectors like you to have the opportunity to get your hands on unique items, as well as a great new way to imprint your own ideas & lore into your props.
I will never sell other people’s models as props. I’m going out of my way to meticulously redesign each of my props including guns, ordnances, physical items etcetera. With each new project, I am constantly pushing the limit of my technical skill with regards to 3D modelling. Whether it’s one of my upcoming Fallout props or my Black Series Mos Eisley Cantina diorama, or my Gibson ES335 Clone Hero Controller (I will release that model at some point).
If you have any ideas for custom props & commissioned items, I’d be happy to chat about your idea. Email me at linsdinner@gmail.com
Am I done with the Cantina yet?
Not yet to be honest, I’ve been spending a lot of time designing a handful of props (see above) from scratch to sell. I know there’s a few people waiting for me to finish the Bar, and the entrance is still behind. I am going to continue working on all kinds of dioramas & displays on top of props. I’ve seen a lot of great models online but again, I am disappointed in how expensive some of these models are. This is also something that I want to be able to offer at more reasonable prices. So again, if you have any ideas for dioramas or sets you’d like to see, reach out!
For now, I am really enjoying the workflow. I love designing, I love building, and I love collecting. If you’re still reading this thank you for your support, and email me if you have any ideas or questions!
